8th July 1984

In full Cornish Railways regalia, 37207 "William Cookworthy" is at the country end of the F&W Railtours "Devonshire Dart" train from Bristol and Birmingham, to Bere Alston, Frairy and Meldon Quarry. 37207, along with 37185, top and tailed the train around Plymouth, whilst main train engines 20184 & 20169 were probably serviced at Laira. I had earlier seen the train shoot through Teignmouth, and then followed it down to Plymouth, to catch it here about to leave westwards. Is that someone making a sound recording from the front vestibule?
