No. 2 is taking passengers on board at the Summit station, prior to departing at 14.40. A serious incident occurred in 2016 when Car No. 3 ran away down the mountain, derailing at Bungalow station, rolling over several times and smashing to bits, way beyond restoration. Sloppy practices and not adhering to the rules by operating staff were to blame, but hopefully those involved have since left the railway, or have been "re-trained"! Fortunately no one was on board the car when it went on its final run down the hill.
