After withdrawal by British Rail but before being restored to working order, Class 25/1 no. 25035 "Castell Dinas Bran" is standing at the platform at Pitsford with Class 27 no. D5401 (27056). Some cosmetic work is apparent although some more adventurous liveries would follow before the loco eventually found a long-term home on the Great Central Railway running in BR green as no. D5185.
