The first Saturday loco-hauled train of 2017 (and last?) on the Westbury to Weymouth line finds DB red Class 67 no. 67010 operating the morning 1O72 Bristol - Weymouth and return 1V72 service. 67010 is seen here at 17.56 on the approach to the station with the 1V72 17.28 Weymouth - Bristol Temple Meads, in between some very heavy rain showers. Sadly, the sun was not quite shining but I was dry! The train is mostly blue and grey Mark 2D stock, with a few former Anglia coaches towards the rear. The loco and stock was brought down from Burton on Trent to Temple Meads early in the morning.
