A twenty minute period during a short stopover whilst on my way to Scotland produced three images, starting with this one. Avanti West Coast "Pendolino" no. 390118 coasts downhill at Scout Green at 10.10 on the 1M09 09.43 Carlisle to London Euston service. The WCML was closed north of Carlisle for engineering work so all London trains started and terminated at the border city.
