There was clearly some engineering work going on around the Warrington area this weekend as at least 3 trains were sent from Carlisle south this morning. The first one had already passed this spot an hour before, but within 5 minutes the next two came along, and virtually identical in make up too! At 10.22 Freightliner Class 66 no. 66533 "Hanjin Express/Senator Express" rolls downhill with the 6Y51 08.50 Carlisle North Yard to Warrington Bank Quay. The train was 43 late at this point and comprised of a rake of bogie open wagons, ex-EWS MOAs.
