After the passing of 4S51, quite remarkably this train came just 4 minutes later, at 09.52, the 4S43 06.16 Daventry (Tesco) - Mossend Euroterminal "Tesco" train. In fact, so close was it that the train was being checked all the way up from Tebay and was travelling very slowly, and only on the approach to the signal at Scout Green did the line ahead clear. What followed was an attack on the ear drums as the two Class 68s were opened up to get the train up the hill in quick time. I have never experienced these locos on full power like this before and I was very impressed! Maybe the fog helped to amplify the sound in front of me. Anyway, here are 68018 "Vigilant" and 68016 "Fearless" providing the entertainment.
