Here's a view from the train, on the approach from the south, clearly showing the disconnected and partially lifted through lines. I'm on board a Pathfinder Railtour, "The Cumbrian Coaster", hauled by 67028. Train 1Z36 Cardiff Central to Carlisle. It was a lovely day out in good weather, and the Coast Line looked particularly attractive on this trip. After a decent break in Carlisle for lunch it was back straight down the WCML and home.
