Should've been a Wizzo!
Class 50s nos. 50007 “Hercules” (50034 “Furious” on one side) and 50049 “Defiance” heads west past Creech on the Pathfinder Tours “Champion Torbay Express”, 1Z52 05.58 Eastleigh to Kingswear. As the name suggests we should have been watching D1015 “Western Champion” on its first trip out on the main line for five years! What a great shame, but never mind. Still nice to see.
Recent lineside clearances here have improved the views from this popular bridge.
