Parked by the gate to Fairwater Yard at 12.30, I espied Freightliner Class 66/6 no. 66623 "Bill Bolsover", wearing its special blue livery. A shot not to be missed. Apparently the loco was a failure and was awaiting a tow back to Freightliner's depot in Hunslet, Leeds.

This unique livery lasted for a number of years afterwards, but at the time of writing (2019) the loco was in Eastleigh Works for a repaint - into what I wonder?
