22nd Feb 1997

On what I believed to be a delivery run, a freshly-converted set of EWS MEA 4-wheel open wagons (you could actually smell the new paint!) is being taken west by a pair of Transrail-liveried Class 37s, 37674 "Saint Blaise Church 1445-1995" and 37896. They are passing the Hawse Lane bridge at Coedkernow, just east of Marshfield. The train started out from Newport ADJ Yard.
