(1) At 11.45 the 6Y11 10.00 Standish Junction to Taunton Fairwater HOBC train passes through Taunton station. Lead by two Freightliner "heavy haul" Class 66s, no. 66614 leads and 66621 trails. There has been overnight engineering works in the Cotswolds and the train was retuning to base. The shot is taken from the locally-famous "40 Steps" bridge and as it turned out this would be my last day on the bridge before it was replaced by something much bigger and uglier, but probably safer!
