Peradeniya Junction

Having asked our driver to show me some railways, the first location he took us to was Peradeniya Junction. This busy junction overflowed with railway architecture from the Victorian age. I was introduced to the Station Master, and although he remained a little aloof he was still willing and proud to show me his station and especially the signalling block instruments and Tyers token equipment.
