Courtesy of the station master I was shown the signalling equipment, located inside his office and not in the signal box, which makes me think that the signal box is out of use. But I never saw any sign of the lever frame, so maybe that is still in place in the box. Nevertheless it seems a strange set-up. The track plan is the original from the days of the Ceylon Government Railway.
