Just days before the First TransPennine Express franchise was cancelled and taken back into Government control and would you believe it the first time I had seen a DRS Class 68 in TPE livery! Just in time then! Stabled in platform 2 at 17.26 is no. 68027 "Splendid". The livery is OK I suppose, certainly very eye-catching, if not a little gaudy! And odd without a yellow cab end.
