Lurking around in the Civil Engineers Sidings were these two condemned Romanian-built Class 56s - nos. 56028 (formerly "West Burton Power Station") and 56030 (formerly "Eggborough Power Station"). They had been here for a few years and there was only one outcome due for them sadly. Both were withdrawn in 1993 and scrapped at Crewe Works in 1998. The Welsh sun and rain (mostly rain I expect!) has well and truly bleached the paintwork!
