Back in the 1980s there was always at least one locomotive stabled in the west bay of Salisbury station, and usually it would be a Class 33. Today Class 33/1 no. 33111 takes up residence, sitting in the early spring sun. The loco enjoys life in preservation on the Swanage Railway.
