Push-pull Class 33/1 no. 33115 has Class 438 4TC unit no. 8028 for company, operating the 12.10 London Waterloo to Gillingham service. The train is just leaving. The building on the platform looks like an old signal box but my understanding is that in fact it was not. Rather, it was used originally to provide hot water for foot warmers given to passengers! First Class passengers I bet. Latterly it was used by carriage and wagon inspection staff.
