Passing us on our narrow boat on the Trent & Mersey Canal, Class 87 no. 87002 "Royal Sovereign" shoots northwards with the 14.00 London Euston to Manchester Piccadilly service. This Class 87 is still with us at the time of writing (2021) and available for service, having been used on Caledonian Sleeper services.
