Passing over the manual level crossing at Wedgwood, Tyseley-based Pressed Steel-built Class 117 DMU set no. T307 heads away with a local train for Stoke-on-Trent. At the time of writing (2018) this station does not have any trains calling at it, the last one calling in 2004, and a replacement bus service providing the passenger service has been substituted.
