Class 55 no. 55022 "Royal Scots Grey" has arrived at Fishguard harbour, at the rear of the Pathfinder Tours "The Western Wales Wanderer" railtour, now running as 1Z51 14.30 Robeston Sidings to Crewe, via Fishguard Harbour. It is seen here soon after we detrained at 15.47. Awkwardly the Deltic hangs out into the road, causing the warning lights to stay on, but there is little to no road traffic to worry about. Class 66 no. 66015 had lead the train to here from Clarbeston Road. We had just over an hour here (and believe me, that was plenty of time, probably more time than was necessary!). Originally, "Western" Class 52 no. D1015 "Western Champion" was booked for this train.
