Hanging out the window I watch as Class 50 no. 50035 "Ark Royal" pulls away from Central station on rolls down the start of the hill to St. Davids. The 1 in 37 gradient will need more brake and power! The centre road is clearly seen as is the semaphore guarding it. I didn't record the details of the train but rest assured it will be a London Waterloo to Exeter service!
