Class 47/4 no. 47541 "The Queen Mother", in original BR blue, waits with the 16.30 Inverness to Edinburgh train. Evidence of the mechanical signalli8ng at Inverness is visible above the loco, all soon to be swept away. As for the loco itself, it's looking a bit tatty for such a prestige engine, with evidence of damage on the near corner. But nice to see the builder's works plate - no doubt now in someone's private collection (not mine, by the way!!).
