Inverness

When I first arrived in this town I thought I had reached the furthest north I could go, but of course, there is a lot of Scotland left to go before you reach the most northern extremity of the mainland! Getting to Wick and Thurso was an early goal, but my attempt was a partial failure, thanks to some poor planning on my part, which resulted me getting to Wick, but not Thurso! Never mind, I'll get there one day, but sadly, less likely behind a pair of 26s or a steam heat 37!
