Class 03 no. 03066 is the resident shunter, having been here for many years. Still wearing its faded BR blue livery it looks very authentic indeed! Withdrawn from Gateshead shed, in Newcastle, in 1988 it went onto to work for Parkfield Castings, Horwich, Manchester before being sold into preservation, initially at the South Yorkshire Preservation Society at Meadowhall, Sheffield. It arrived at Barrow Hill in 1999.
