Heading east from the station is a useful footpath, from which I have taken a few shots. At the time of my visit on this day the country was in the grip of "foot and mouth" disease, so much of the footpath was off-limits. But this section here gave me some acceptable views. At 12.02 Class 60 no. 60008 "Gypsum Queen II" heads up an empty iron ore train from Santon to Immingham, passing grazing horses in the field. The village of Barnetby is in the background.
