Standing atop the High Street Level Crossing footbridge this eastwards view of the station shows off the general layout to good advantage. The 1848-built Great Northern station building, with its clock tower, is visible beyond the High Street Signal Box in the foreground. With fairly regular trains, including freight to and from Immingham Docks, passing through the motorists' patience is tested to the max!
