This was an unexpected bonus for me whilst taking a few pictures at this picturesque station. 37264 and 37098 heads westwards light engine at 16.09. They may have been working a diagrammed move to get to Meldon Quarry for a return ballast train, or may be heading further west. Whatever, we'll never know. Former Inverness-based 37264 has been preserved and can currently (2019) be found on the North Yorkshire Moors Railway. 37098 was less fortunate, being scrapped in 2002.
