Hot Hot HOBC! With temperatures hitting 30 degrees C there is no doubt that summer has arrived at last, although for how long? At 13.08 Freightliner Class 66 no. 66561 rolls through the station at a brisk pace with the 6C73 12.17 Westbury Down T.C. to Fairwater Yard, transferring a rake of HOBC wagons, plus a few HQA and IEA ballast hoppers and wagons. No doubt replenished at the virtual quarry at Westbury in readiness for the coming weekend's work.
