The Network Rail "New Measurement Train", operating as 1Q18 05.00 Old Oak Common - London Paddington, via Plymouth (the long way round then!), passes through non stop at 11.17. 43062 "John Armitt" leads, with 43013 at the rear. The duty manager (is that what they are called now?) looks on. The goods shed in the background, for many years in private use, has recently been demolished.
