Just south of Abington, Virgin Pendolino no. 390020 "Virgin Cavalier" is climbing up the more gentler south-bound slope towards Beattock at 13.11 on a Glasgow Central to London Euston express. It's a lovely winter’s day up here in the upper Clyde Valley.
