Reminders of the past here, as an east-bound manifest train heads through Union Station at 08.17 with ES44DC no. 7585, in BNSF's orange and GN green livery, and former Santa Fe Dash 9-44CW no. 788, wearing the red and silver "war bonnet" scheme. That's what I enjoy about observing BNSF trains: memories of pre-merger times are still easily rekindled with trains such as this.
