One obvious feature of this railway that I have noticed is the number of telegraph poles that have been left in place, albeit without the wires. They make good props for photography, and remind us of a common sight along the railway that has gone. I remember as a child being almost hypnotised by the rhythm of the lines going up and down as the train sped along! Heading away from Quorn & Woodhouse station at 15.53 is 9F no. 92214 "Leicester City" with a train from Loughborough to Leicester North.
