The line twists and turns through the hills around Enterkinfoot, just south of Sanquhar. This spot shows a lovely reverse curve as Scotrail 156494 runs south at 14.29 on the 13.03 Glasgow Central to Carlisle service. The unit is wearing the Strathclyde Passenger Transport Executive livery of carmine and cream.
