Andover, Hampshire

To me this is a familiar stop on the Exeter to Waterloo service, being the last station towards London before the third rail territory is joined at Basingstoke. It has a wide, open appearance, belying the fact that there was once two fast lines that occupied the space between platforms. The Ludgershall branch, still in place but rarely used, exists, I believe, for military traffic, although there was once EEC quarry traffic on the line.
