An interesting livery - BR blue large-logo Class 37 no. 37116 has a few unique embellishments, such as the yellow cab window frames and full valance around the buffers. It's stabled at the west end of the station whilst its charter train ventures out to the MOD branch to Ludgershall. This was the weekend of the famous Basingstoke Rail Day, a marvellous open day that featured just about every type of locomotive running on BR. I had a great time and on my way back stopped over at Andover to catch some shots of the charter.
