A year has passed and I find myself back in Derby. Here we see Network Rail's Class 150 unit used for track recording, numbered as 950001. It is about to depart as the 13.53 Derby RTC - Carlisle High Wapping Sidings, a journey that would take it over the WCML and Shap later in the afternoon. A long way in a 2-car unit!
