"Scots Grey" goes South West! Preserved "Deltic" Class 55 no. 55022 "Royal Scots Grey" pits on a show as it rounds the curve at Langstone Rock at 09.35, heading a Pathfinder railtour to Cornwall. This is the "Cornish Explorer", the 1Z55 05.20 Birmingham International to Penzance. It might be a classic, even a cliché, view of the Dawlish sea wall route, but a "Deltic" in Devon is something special.
