Viewed from Langstone Rock, this is a northbound Speedlink service, the 12.10 Tavistock Junction to Gloucester, hauled by 47335. Being the start of the summer holidays, and sunny too, several sunbathers are on the beach, people with plenty other things on their mind to be bothered about what is hauling this train today! The Speedlink wagonload network was later deemed to be unprofitable and ceased in 1991, much of the traffic being lost to road transport.
