Worcester Shrub Hill
The first Shrub Hill station was jointly built by the Oxford, Worcester & Wolverhampton Railway - the "Old Worse & Worse"! - and the Midland Railway, but the present station opened in 1865. The station remains an oasis of Western Region lower quadrant signalling, including some exquisite bracket signals, and hopefully will continue to be so for a while yet. But you can never take these things for granted.
