Class 08 no. 08954 was a regular at Exeter for as long as I could remember. Here it is coming down the bank from Central, passing Exeter West Signal Box. It's on a train of coal hopper from Exmouth Junction Coal Concentration Yard, heading for Riverside Yard. Trip workings between the two were a daily event. In 2025 no. 08954 is still with us, remarkably based at Polmadie Depot in Glasgow! Long may it survive.
