THis is teh UK's oldest working signal box, The Grade II listed Marsh Brook, or is it Marshbrook? The railway used two words, the hamlet, just the one. The brick-built signal box was constructed in 1872 by the L&NWR. There was also a station here until 1958, the station building and station master's house being constructed 20 years earlier in 1852.
