Marsh Brook, Shropshire
The key point of interest here is the UK's oldest operating signal box, built in 1872 by the London & North Western Railway. It controls semaphore signals and the level crossing here. Now a Grade II listed building. The station, dating back to 1852, closed in 1958. It was then a private residence until surprisingly being demolished in 2019!
