(2) GBRf Class 66 no. 66732 "GBRf The First Decade 1999-2009 John Smith - MD" pokes its nose out from under the bridge carrying Castleton Road (I have moved to the bridge at New Road) at 11.39, standing as it is on the 6G27 22.18 Westbury Down T. C. to Yeovil Junction. No. 66779 "Evening Star" was at the other end of this train, made up of bogie open wagons, half containing new ballast, the other half empty and being loaded with spoil. The rain was coming down so I didn't linger for long but captured this rare view for posterity. The lights of the loco and on-track plant give this image a festive glow, appropriate for the month in question!
