Standing at the top of Castle Hill, just north of Crawford, you have a nice view of the WCML looking south. If the sun was out the train would be lit on the wrong side, so a dull day it better! At 11.27 Freightliner Class 90s nos. 90048 and 90015 pull an empty rake of Freightliner flats past my view point, on the 4S52 07.51 Crewe Basford Hall S.S.N. to Coatbridge F.L.T. The train was actually running 44 minutes early but was held further ahead in the Abington freight loop between 11.31 and 12.43!
