Crawford, South Lanarkshire (WCML)

Whilst looking for information about this village I learnt that it has earned the title of ‘most haunted village in Scotland ‘. Suffice to say you probably don’t want to stay long around the old Post Horn Inn! For me the attraction is more to do with the scenery and setting of the West Coast Main Line around this appealing Borders location. Afternoon and evenings on this stretch of railway are often the best time.
