Light power heads round the curve at Tunnel 2 towards Caliente. Maintenance of Way work had halted most trains for a while but at 13.30 this set of three locomotives were allowed to proceed. They represent the sign of the times: UP power in the form of nos. 3772 (SD40-2), 6855 (ex-CNW SD40-2) and 9013 (C36-7). Classic traction for a classic route in the mountains!
