(2) Inter City nineties style! After its booked stop the 07.40 Glasgow Central to London Euston is heading away south with Class 90 no. 90037 pushing the train away from Oxenholme. DVT no. 82111 is leading. The '90 had only just been introduced into service, the final members of the fleet being completed this year. Their allocation to the freight sector, and the Railfreight Distribution livery, confirms the the Class 90 was a mixed traffic loco, just at home on express passenger or heavy intermodal trains.
