Class 73/1 no. 73102 "Airtour Suisse" wears the recently introduced Inter City Main Line livery - I seem to recall that I was quite excited to see this loco as it may have bene the first time I had come face-to-face with the scheme! It waits to depart with the 15.00 Bournemouth to London Waterloo. If I recall correctly the 4REP EMUs that were coupled with 4TCs for the Weymouth trains had been taken out of service so that traction motors could be removed and reused in the new Class 442 EMUs that would take over the Weymouth trains over the recently electrified line. So the Class 73s were brought in as a stop-gap measure.
