(1) At 17.50 Class 66 no. 66150 is waiting for a path down the branch with the 18.17 Tower Colliery to Aberthaw Power Station loaded coal. My notes remind me that the train had departed Tower really early at 16.25 and waited here until 19.02! Another interesting observation is that I saw this loco 4 days previously at Colton Junction, south of York, on a Scunthorpe to Lackenby steel train - see that gallery for the photo. Proves just how intensively used these locos are.
